1. About these terms

These terms govern your use of CvEO (cveo.net), its free tools and the CvEO Autofill Chrome extension. By creating an account or using the service you accept them. The privacy policy explains how we handle personal data.

2. The service

CvEO lets you import, write, design, translate and tailor CVs, analyse job postings, write cover letters and fill job applications with the extension. Some of these use AI and consume AI credits. The ATS checker and the free AI review can be used without an account, within daily limits.

3. Your account

You must be at least 16 and give true information. The account is personal: keep your sign-in secure and tell us if you suspect someone else used it. You are responsible for what is done with your account.

4. Free trial

Every new account gets 7 days and 10 AI credits for free, without a card. When the trial ends nothing is charged: the AI features stop and your CVs remain yours.

5. The 30-day pass

• One payment. You pay once, through Stripe. It is not a subscription and is never charged again.
• 30 days of everything. The pass unlocks every candidate feature for 30 days from the payment.
• AI credits. The pass includes the AI credits shown on the pricing page. They can be used until the pass ends and do not carry over.
• Need more time? Buying another pass while one is running adds its days and credits to what you have left.
• Price and taxes. The price is shown in your currency (reais in Brazil, euros in Europe, US dollars elsewhere) before you pay. Taxes such as VAT are added at checkout where the law requires.

6. Refunds

You can cancel a purchase and get a full refund within 7 days of paying (Brazilian Consumer Code, article 49), or within 14 days if you live in the European Union or the United Kingdom. Ask through the support page: the money goes back to the card you used and the pass ends when the refund is made. If something does not work as described, contact us at any time.

7. Your content

The CVs, texts and files you add are yours. You allow CvEO to store, process and transform them only to provide the service to you — including sending them to AI providers when you use AI features — and to publish them only where you choose, such as a public profile or an email you send.

You are responsible for your content being true and for having the right to use it. Review every AI suggestion before you use it: you decide what goes into your CV.

8. Acceptable use

Do not use CvEO to:

• Deceive employers by inventing degrees, employers, dates or skills.
• Process other people's data without their permission, such as someone else's CV.
• Abuse the service by getting around its limits, sharing accounts, or attacking or overloading its systems.
• Copy the service by scraping, reverse engineering or reselling it.
• Break the law or the terms of the websites where you apply.

9. HR professional accounts

If you use CvEO as a recruiter, headhunter or career consultant, you are responsible for the resumes and personal data you bring in: you must have the right to process them, use them only for recruitment, and delete them when you no longer need them. For those resumes, CvEO processes the data on your behalf.

Job postings must be real and lawful: no discrimination by age, gender, race, religion, disability or any other protected characteristic, no fees charged to candidates, and no collecting data for anything other than the job. We can remove postings and suspend accounts that break these rules.

10. What the AI does and does not promise

AI output can be wrong or incomplete. Scores, analyses and rewrites are suggestions, not guarantees: no tool can promise an interview or a job, and CvEO does not.

11. The Chrome extension

The extension fills application forms with your data so you can review them; you submit every application yourself. Job websites have their own terms, which you remain responsible for respecting.

12. Availability and changes to the service

We work to keep CvEO available and to improve it, which can mean changing or removing features. If a change removes something you paid for while your pass is running, we offer a proportional refund.

13. Ending your use

You can delete your account at any time in Settings, which deletes your data as the privacy policy describes. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, after telling you why where the law allows.

14. Liability

We run the service with care, but cannot guarantee every result. Where the law allows, our liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before it. Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law does not allow to be limited, such as for intent or gross negligence, or your rights as a consumer.

15. Consumer rights and applicable law

If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the consumer law of the country where you live, including access to its courts. Before going to court, please write to us: most problems are solved quickly.

16. Changes to these terms

When we change these terms we update the date at the top and, for important changes, tell you by email or in the app at least 15 days before they apply. A pass already bought keeps the conditions under which you bought it.
